Good thing nobody goes to England

Yes, SH has to go to England for work and I am going with him. For real this time.

Countries that are on the drop-down list on my credit card company's website on the place where you tell them not to cancel your card even though there are charges coming from a foreign country:

Locations that are not:

British Isles
Great Britain
United Kingdom

It's hip to be third world conscious.

Bring me something from England!

(just kidding. It's a joke we have whenever anyone says they're going somewhere.)

Have a wonderful time!! =D

Marta -- I expected better from USAA. Sigh.

What do you want? I will look for a cool spice or something. :)

Not more Americans...the place is awash with them, something to do with exchange rates and the pound being worth about three cents.....

If you need advice, you know where to come!

HRD, we LOVE England! We went three years ago and had a great time. Well, I did. SH was working. We are going to Southampton, Bristol (again), Sheffield and Coventry. No time in London this visit, I don't think, although we hope to see my grad school friends Debbie and Dom in Chalfont St Peter at least for supper.

And recommendations for the places I listed?

And yes, the reason I posted the photo of the chips is because that is the one food SH is determined to bring back. We have enough Hobnobs and can get them here now. Cheese? We're in Wisconsin, so that seems kind of silly. But Thai Pepper potato chips? Can't find them here for love or money.

I LURVE the oven roasted chicken with thyme-- they taste like Stove Top stuffing.... in the very best way.
