Marriage 101, Lecture 589: Sharing -- sort of -- with the less fortunate

SH: Are both these zucchini breads for us?

Me: No, one is for Regina.

This one weighed 5.5 pounds, making it not so good for grilling but just fine for zucchini chocolate-chocolate chip bread and zucchini jam.

SH: Why should she get one?

Me: Because she fed our cats when we were gone.

Me: Does it matter which one?

Me: Nope.

SH: Then I'll keep the thick one and she can have the skinny one.

Me: Whatever.

SH: She won't know there was a thick one.

So I've been troubled for a long time by this post. "Why are these zucchini breads...", but the objects are clearly only zucchini the vegetable, not zucchini the BREAD. Are you all daffy at Villa Class Factotum?
Or have I missed a significant piece of midwest Americana where vegetables are magically transformed into bread?

It is magic indeed, Gary. Part of the magic is calling it "bread" when it is really "cake." Kind of like cupcakes become breakfast food when they are called "muffins."

But yes, we are all daffy here. PS Loved the link!
