Germany photos

LPC, this is for you. Apparently, the sweatbands were a substitute for half socks, perhaps the old German man version of the young Japanese girls in their miniskirts, over the knee socks, and high heels, which is not a look I would attempt in the privacy of my own home, much less on the cobbled streets of Munich. Note that the women do not have the same knee requirement to go with the traditional outfit.

Some things in fashion really are completely inexplicable, aren't they? Thank you so much for adding something else I will never understand to my existence. Keep us young, mystery.

When I want a taste of Germany, I go to Mader's German Restaurant in Milwaukee. The waitresses wear that same dress with pantyhose and tie shoes.

Lindy, I have eaten at Mader's. We had supper at Karl Ratzsch's last night and we're still not hungry. We brought home about 5 lbs of leftovers. Those Germans. They know how to eat.
