Me: That Van Guy never came for the brownies.

SH: So what's your backup plan?

Me: I guess for you to eat them.

SH: Do they have nuts?

Me: Yes.

SH: But I don't like nuts in my chocolate.

Me: Then I guess the backup plan is for me to eat them.
