Marriage 501, Lecture 234: The Other Woman

I have to go out of town and will be gone when SH and I have tickets to see "Anne Frank." I suggested he ask Christina, the Nighttime Wife, who was a theater major.

SH: You're a very trusting wife! You're leaving and you're encouraging me to go out with a younger woman!

Me: It's a play about Nazis! And a 14 year old who gets murdered in a concentration camp!

SH: Uplifting.

Me: I'm not worried.

Was this the Milwaukee Rep? If so, one of my class mates from Marshfield, has the role of Mr. Van Daan. (Lee Ernst) Enjoy the play!!! White Chocolate

Oh, I can relate!

We had tickets to Youth Night at the Opera.

Youngest DD and I had walking pneumonia. So I ENCOURAGED DH to take a neighbor and her daughter with our oldest.

It wasn't till they drove off that I realized I had sent him out with a woman who is

younger
slimmer
blonde

Several months afterward, though, DH was talking about that neighbor family and their latest remodeling project. He said something like, "I think What's-Her-Name used Swanstone." I was reassured that he couldn't even remember Beautiful Blonde Neighbor's first name.
