Marriage 501, Lecture 231: Who took the cookies from the cookie jar?

SH: Hey! You're not doing it right!

Me: What are you talking about?

SH: Those cookies are going to be shaking around. They're not secure. [Cookies we were taking with us to our friends' house in Pittsburgh.]

Me: Fine. I'll put some ziplocks in here to cushion them.

SH: No!

Me: Then you be in charge.

SH: OK. I'll use paper towels.

Me: Not like that! They won't do any good if they are folded. You need to crumple them up.

SH: But that's not as esthetically appealing as neatly folded.

Me: So you would pick form over function? What good does it do to look pretty if it doesn't work?

PS SH took some of my Christmas cookies to his mom and dad's in December. Their comments? 1. They didn't like the hazelnut chocolate ones and 2. I hadn't sent enough. No thank you.
