Marriage 601, Lecture 721: Won't get fooled again

SH: Want to iron some shirts for me?

Me: No thank you.

SH: I asked you a little while ago but thought maybe you might have changed your mind since then.

Me: Nope. I am consistent in my lack of interest in ironing your clothes.

This cracked me up, and I had to share this: I recently discovered that my husband thought I had no idea how to iron! I guess I have somehow managed not to iron his shirts or anything else for our entire 21 YEARS of marriage! Ha! Secretly I totally know how to iron...

I iron brilliantly, my dad learned how to iron a shirt to perfection in the army (yeah, ours) and dad tought me - but the entire family knows better than to ask me to iron. See, they can learn.

Well played, Karen!

WFF, I owe my talent for polishing shoes to the US Air Force.
